Serve as a Federal Bureau of Investigation Acting Lead Police Officer at the CJIS complex in WV. Performed the following duties and responsibilities: Provided supervision to subordinates in the absence of the Shift Sergeant. Carry our all tasks given by the Sergeant. Relay information from management to the officers. Ensure officers compliance with all rules and regulation of the Police Unit. Prepare Schedules and ensure post coverage, manage and schedule leave and overtime as needed. Carry firearms and make arrests in accordance with federal and local laws, rules and regulations. Perform Law Enforcement work in the protection of life, property, and civil rights of individuals. Protect government property and secure information from acts of sabotage, espionage, terrorism, theft, fire, and accidental or willful damage and destruction. Serve on any shift or location at CJIS, Headquarters, WFO, Quantico, NYC, and any possible TDY assignments. Perform any and all necessary vehicle patrols, foot patrols, and atv patrols to ensure safety and security. Arrest or seize any unauthorized individuals attempting to gain access or steal government property. Provide a liaison with local law enforcement and assist with pursuing felons, performing road blocks, or testifying in court as needed.
