Through my experience in college studying Criminal Justice I have gained a firm grip on how the judicial system works as well as procedure and legalistic terms. I have knowledge of constitutional rights and protections that citizens have, and a good idea of what situations I may face as a police officer. With my work ethic and ability to learn quick, I believe I can be a useful asset to any department I join.

- Worked on a federally mandated survey to ensure that there were no lead pipes in the City of Laramie.
- Mainly included getting into people's homes and looking at water meter/shut off valve to determine material and sizing of water pipes.
- Drove company vehicle from house to house.
- Knocked on doors to be able to access water meters.
- Had to greet customers of the city on a daily basis. Had to be kind, courteous, and upkeep a professional appearance.
- Had to explain to customers the point of the lead and copper survey to help them better understand what I was doing.
- Kept detailed reports of the meter information on work order.
- Had to use an iPad daily; taking pictures, entering value inputs, and writing notes.
- Worked in a variety of weather. From blistering heat in August to rain in October, then to blizzards/snow in Winter/Spring.
- Used a variety of hand tools to open up Meter Pits and find curb stops (Water shut off).

- Had to upkeep a professional appearance when in the public eye.

- When short staffed, had to run multiple positions. Learned to manage stress levels and how to prevent myself from getting overwhelmed.

- Made sure no one trespassed on event grounds. Had to check IDs, stamps, etc.
