  • This position requires me to Coordinate the development of certification and aviation regulatory proposals and plans and verify compliance to requirements
  • I also develop and support implementation of certification processes, tools and procedures
  • This position also requires me to assist in preparation of technical documentation and reports for delivery to customers and support deployment, integration and testing on customer platforms at customer sites, to include travel
  • It also includes the use a Microsoft Office programs, Matrix, CMPro, CAPRS and HIS databases on some occasions
  • I have access to the TO library and my experience comes from almost 30 years in the United States Air Force

  • The USAFR AFRC 440 MXS/MXMFM for which I worked was the first ever reverse associate reserve unit
  • This gave me experience in working with active duty personnel where the reserves were the lead in charge and the active duty was the associate
  • Upon arrival in this position, I was immediately assigned the duties of the Metal Technology Shop Chief
  • At that time, my position description was in the process of being rewritten to a supervision level which would include the supervisory duties I was assigned
  • In this position, I was NCOIC of the shop supervising 13 full time employees (1 ART and 12 Active Duty) as well as 6 Reservists (previously 8)
  • This position not only required supervisory skills but also the responsibility for all administrative duties concerning the shop and employees.

  • This was a special duty assignment job in which as First Sergeant I served as advisor to the Commander
  • I assisted 80 plus personnel at the 35th Combat Comm
  • Squadron and 44 activated personnel in the 507th Security Forces
  • Also served as Wing First Sergeant on active duty from April 2008 to August 2008 for the 507th ARW
  • As First Sergeant, I was the principal advisor to the Commander on all issues related to the enlisted force and exercised general supervision over assigned enlisted personnel
  • Advised the commander on a wide range of topics to include health, discipline, wellbeing, professional development, etc
  • Provided leadership and guidance to supervisors and members enabling them to resolve problems or complaints at the lowest level.
