  • Inaugural president of a new architectural preservation & education driven foundation. Secured IRS nonprofit status, established funding structure and national permissions, raised $1.3 million endowment.
  • Created initial corporate funding program for Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
  • Conducted feasibility study to determine foundation support for Latino Public Broadcasting.
  • Launched Hallmark’s Little Gallery line, took sales from $600,000 to $13 million.

  • Raised funds for MSF-USA’s new offices through corporate contributions and in-kind donations.

  • Formulated business plan for Craft in America PBS series & retail operations; eliminated deficit.

  • Raised ongoing funding for the Smithsonian through development of national licensing.
  • Raised $4 million in merchandise donations for PBS auctions across the country.

Programming

  • Created new Annual Reports for Notre Dame de Sion educational institution.
  • Expanded the Broadway Educational Alliance outreach and student impact.
  • Worked with Young Audiences marketing program to expand image and reach.
  • Worked with London based MEND Foundation to bring its program to the USA.
  • Helped Tod Machover (Pulitzer Prize finalist) with his opera Death and the Powers.
  • Created and managed integrated convergent cross-platforms and CSR programs on 200 national award-winning signature public television primetime series and specials.
  • Secured first NEA grant for NYC based Urban Stages.

Staffing

  • Managed professional staffs from 2 to 10.
  • Managed volunteer staffs of 2,500.
  • Implemented ongoing Board of Directors education program, training 200 professionals to serve on nonprofit boards of directors.
