Support the Digital Services and IO departments by assisting with the pre-qualification and pre-delivery verification of assets to ensure content.

Responsibilities:

Perform asset pre-qualification to validate the file integrity

File and hard drive verification & vetting

Pre-delivery content checks

Commercial break identification

Subtitle burn-in identification

Foreign language verification

Resolve issues either technical or deadline related, and collaborate with operational departments and client services, towards a timely resolution

Maintain an awareness of Visual Data's client's core challenges and internal deadlines and build proactive and collaborative relationships

Operation of various asset and workflow management tools

Verify deliverables for technical compliance (video/audio codecs) and meta-data accuracy.

Perform full linears and A/V sync checks on video, audio and caption files.

Create timing sheets with locations for ad-breaks for episodic and feature titles.

Verify issues on deliverables, confirm as either source related or induced during transcoding.

Use of Final Cut Pro, Switch Player, MacCaptions, Quicktime, Dumpster, MediaInfo.

Manage and prioritize testers tasks based on due dates and internal priority

• Offload and prioritize tasks for test team in Bangalore

• Verify meta-data (video/audio codecs), perform full linears and A/V sync checks for client/portal compliance for digital files.

• Maintain matrix/schedule for projects, ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed in a timely fashion.

• Ensure all issues in database are clear and concise for review by authoring, subtitling and account manager.
