  • SOAPBOX DERBY RACECAR, 04/2024, Collaborated with 2 people and designed a competitive entry to the professional class with a budget restriction of $300. Implemented welding and fabricating techniques, and various problem solving skills. Resulted in 8th place and presented our processes, results, and findings.
  • SPEED REDUCER, 05/2023, Designed gearbox to slow the speed of an electric motor to 80 +/- 5 RPM given input horsepower, speed, shaft size, and desired output speed. Used stock part models from McMaster-Carr online catalog, successfully achieved an output speed of 83.28 RPM.
  • PROPOSAL FOR COMPUTER REPLACEMENT, 05/2023, Collaborated with a team of four people to develop a proposal to replace the computers in Mercer's Library using feasibility and merit analysis. Presented our proposal including budget analysis, plan implementation, and quality control.
