• Constructs and maintains concrete and asphalt runways, aircraft parking aprons, parking lots, pads and roads. Performs earthwork as necessary to prepare site for concrete and bituminous materials. Performs demolition of existing concrete and bituminous areas. Must have knowledgeable in equipment operations, hand tools and formwork for concrete and asphalt operations. Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Greased mechanical parts with lubrication to achieve smooth and regular functionality.

1. Structural Inspections: Conduct inspections of buildings, hangars, facilities, and other structures to assess their condition and identify structural issues. Utilize various inspection methods, tools, and techniques to evaluate the integrity of structural components. Document inspection findings and recommend corrective actions.

2. Structural Repairs and Renovations: Perform structural repairs, modifications, and renovations to ensure compliance with safety standards and structural codes. Fabricate and install structural components, including beams, columns, walls, roofs, and foundations. Utilize welding, cutting, and other fabrication techniques as required. Collaborate with engineering personnel to develop repair plans and specifications.

3. Damage Assessment and Emergency Response: Assess structural damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, or other incidents. Coordinate with emergency response teams to secure and stabilize structures in emergency situations. Conduct immediate repairs to restore structural integrity and mitigate further damage. Collaborate with other trades and units to facilitate timely recovery and restoration efforts.

4. Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand structural specifications and requirements. Translate design specifications into practical construction plans and activities. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of structural elements.

5. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with building codes, occupational safety regulations, and environmental standards. Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective measures. Promote a culture of safety and provide training to personnel on safe work practices.

• Operates and drives a ready mix truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Dolese rules and regulations
• Demonstrates an understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices at the workplace and continuously follows all safety rules
• Performs weekly maintenance, record, and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, and checking and adding fluids as needed
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely manner
• Visually inspects the consistency of concrete in the mixer
• Uses water hoses, brushes, and other cleaning supplies to maintain a clean mixer truck
• Completes and maintains a DOT Daily Log Book
• Understands and communicates job hazards and directs workers either directly, through two-way radio, or using hand signals
• Utilizes tools and technology relevant to the role (eTicket, etc.)
• Exercises good judgment regarding worksite access, unloading, and operation to and from the delivery site
• Assists maintenance with repairs as needed
• Maintains a positive attitude around coworkers and customers and acts in a professional and courteous manner
• Assists in training of coworkers as needed
• Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
