• Graduates & Professionals Representing Achievement Diversity and Service (G.R.A.D.S.), UNMC, 2019-08, 2023-05, As a member, I participated in community projects and mentored several students.
• Outreach committee, Internal Medicine Diversity Taskforce, UNMC, Committee member, 2022-06, 2023-05, The task force, which includes students, residents, and faculty, was established with a mission To transform our residency into one that reflects the diversity of our patient population and ensure that our residency provides an inclusive environment for residents to succeed.
• UNMC White Coats for Black Lives (WC4BL), Founding member, 2020-07, 2023-05, As a chapter of the National WC4BL organization, this was founded in the aftermath of the social unrest in 2020 with the goals of dismantling racism and accompanying systems of oppression in health. As a member, I took part in monthly meetings and discussed ways to raise awareness of systemic racism within healthcare.

• Medical College of Wisconsin, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Volunteer and participant, 2022-06, 2022-07, This Community Engagement Student Summer Series was hosted by the Medical College of Wisconsin Office of Community Engagement in collaboration with the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The program trained medical students in community engagement project design.
• Nebraska Methodist Hospital HELP Program, H.E.L.P. volunteer, 2017-01, 2018-05, The Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) is a comprehensive patient-care program that ensures optimal care for older adults in the hospital. It aims to prevent delirium. The volunteer visits several patients in the hospital and engages in several activities.
• NE STEM 4U, University of Nebraska Omaha, Mentor, 2017-01, 2017-12, The NE STEM 4U program provides out-of-school time programming in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to elementary and middle school students while engaging undergraduate and graduate students at UNO in leadership and mentorship roles. It is a student-run, faculty-advised organization through the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
