Working in Dr. Jeffrey Moore’s Research Lab where the focus is to further understand heart muscle and the basis of certain cardiomyopathies. Tasked so far with isolating tropomyosin from bacterial cells to be used in experimentation and in verifying the protein isolated was what was desired. Gaining experience in reading and writing scientific literature via workshops hosted by faculty/students affiliated with the lab.
