Summary

Enthusiastic shadowing student, adept at carefully watching and assisting professionals. Strong documentation, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities. Knowledgeable about managing supplies, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment, and maintaining files. I learned the significance of wanting to learn through Boy Scouts, as I worked and achieved the rank of Eagle. Using the learning skills I acquired earlier in life, I work toward a double major in biochemistry and microbiology, while working on my pre-med. The skill I take the most pride in is my ability to adapt and change to any scenario in which I find myself.

About me

  • While I was born and live in Springfield, I attended Rochester Schools through high school, where I graduated with honors and a GPA of 4.25. In my time at Rochester, I took part in as many opportunities at my school as I could; I joined the band in junior high, stayed in it through all of high school, and at one point, got to march down Main Street at Disney. Outside of band, I was also an athlete, running for the school in track and cross country. School wasn't the only place I did stuff, though, as I also took part in Boy Scouts, something that allowed me to travel all over the country, from the southern tip of Florida to the northern end of Minnesota as a member of Troop 58, and I was able to earn my Eagle Scout rank my senior year of high school
  • After High School I knew I wanted to go to Carbondale, as I'm now the fourth generation of my family to attend this college. Initially, I started off as just a biochemistry major, wanting to combine my passion for biology and chemistry, but after talking with my counselor, I discovered I could add a second major, microbiology, and still graduate on time to hopefully attend medical school after college so, after finishing my first semester with a GPA of 3.714, I started my second semester, now as a double major.
