I was offered the line cook spot...But for the same pay I did maintenance,,prep cooking,,,Dishes,,closing etc...It was a nice change to be off the line,,after cooking for so long..But unfortunately they closed due to financial problems....
Standard Line cook job at a one man kitchen....I worked nights most of the time.....Cook everything, prep, clean and organize ,,help with inventory,,wash dishes,, and closing....
Another one man kitchen....Get there at 3 p.m. Prep ,,cook everything on the menu...Standard barfare..clean ...do food ordering,,Clean and close...Very busy place...We would have 2 people there during seahawks games..but thats it..To be honest..I can do the work of two people most of the time....Not a bad place to work...Live music, karaoke,,,bingo etc...
Worked nights,,,4 to close...It was sort of a nightclub. Steaks, seafood, pasta, street tacos. nachos..burgers, club sandwiches, salads,,I cooked everything, did prep...cleaned ..food ordering, and closed every night...But then they closed because they were purchased by a new owner and then covid happened...
I was a closer there...Two cooks on the weekends until 9 or 10,,Then I would work by myself tues, wed ,and thursday..More of the standard cook stuff..cook,clean, prep, organize..and close...Another busy bar...

I worked days and nights there..Very busy place..Fun place,,..And at the plamor,,you take the food orders,,cook the food,,then take the food out,,bus tables..with help from the bartenders when it is busy...I would do my own prep cook everything,,Prime Rib,,steaks burgers nachos,,,taco night,,,clean and close...I like taverns because of the tips.. But .I left there because the manager was very grumpy..After a year or two of constant problems..I just went and found a new job..
It was a restaurant and lounge in a hotel..I worked days and nights....All homemade food...Even the mozzarella sticks...Themed events..live music ..Talent contests..Wrestling shows...It was fun...But the hotel was purchased buy the Tulalip Casino and closed...It was a bummer.I liked it there....I did most of my prep and all the cooking and cleaning..But had a dishwasher,,,

Nice Place...More of a higher end kind of a place. I worked the pantry section there...Specialty salads, sushi, deserts., appetizers...prep...Although I could work the whole line,!.But It was a three man line there....
I worked the broiler there...Steaks Halibut and Salmon...etc...But I could cook everything there...Saute, Pantry ...Fryers,.....It had a 3 to 4 man line...Another more high end place....Right on the waterfront in an old victorian house converted to a 2 story restaurant ..Then I moved to Seatllle and went to Ten Mercer..
