Merchandising ASM work opening/closing/mid shifts and overnights when needed. Over see all core departments such as Garden, Hardware, Electrical, Plumbing, Building & Lumber and Paint. Work with department supervisors to ensure all out of stocks and shelf maintenance are addressed daily. Ensure that all supervisors walk their depts. using the Overhead Management report everyday and using the Home Depot First phone to work all Clearance and Penny reports. Opening/closing walks with overnight supervisor to maintain proper overhead maintenance.

• Perform opening/duties such as making bank deposit in the morning, ensure the store has enough bills and change. Count money and set up registers in the morning and at night close all registers count money and place in the store’s safe. Receiving of new products such as movies, games and food. Clean restrooms, vacuum floors, mop floors, organize all movies and games and put back on shelves.
