- Worked in both analog and digital (20MGs/Sec) Master Control Rooms with duties of managing daily tasks, such as (Transmission , workflow, QC, Ingesting, Archiving, Sat Desk and Media Management). I work within AGMC/ ASI network that connects offices around the world in Doha, London, DC and Bosnia. SD, HD, PAL, NTSC, up/down and cross conversion and ARCing.
- Broadcast engineering knowledge needed to support the Control Room and needed to escalate technical issue.
- Assisted with relocating the MCR to a new office bulling for Aljazeera based office in Washington DC.
- A team player, have trained interns, scheduled staff, written problem reports and evaluations.
- Conducted live shots and live shows in office (mic guests, IFB, set up shot and send it to destination) and Remotely using Fiber Optics (Switch, Verizon AVOC, Vyvx, Archiva, BT and GlobCast) or via Stream Boxes such as Dejaro, LiveU, TVU, Quick Link.
- Booked studios, SNGs, and Sat Spaces (Sat desk work) for live events such as Presidential Election coverage (Since Obama/Bush elections) DNC,RNC UNGA , breaking news, reporters and guests live shots.
- Downlinking on a daily basis material using (Ericson IRDs and LXI Spectrum Analyzer) in both steerable dishes and fixed dishes, from field and from bureaus around the word such as Doha, London and Bosnia .
- QC live shot/Material (ARC, up/down/cross convert Format, Audio, Framing, compatibility) using (Miranda iControl, Snell Frame Syncs/convertors, Tektronix WFM5200 wave form).
- Ingesting material on a daily basis using (Arvato VPMS, Avid Capture, and Dalet Ingest systems)/identifying all Metadata
- TX Operator using Miranda iTX and Harris client servers.
- Routing using (MirandaNV9640A and RTS).
- Editing knowledge (Avid, Final Cut Pro, and Premier).
- Shooting, lighting, and news Camcorders knowledge.
