I have worked in many job fields and I am grateful for all the opportunities that I have had, though I am so happy and glad that I hv found what I want to do for the rest of my life! Which is go to school full-time and eventually transfer to a 4-year university. I want to work with music, specifically film and video-game scoring. It took me a while to figure out what I really wanted to do. I tried the packing houses, the money was good to have but I was just completely exhausted after work especially night shifts. I think that working hard in these jobs help me figure out what I was really passionate about and what I would love to do for the rest of my life!
In 2022 I was given a Certificate of Accomplishment for completed all the classes I needed for my major in Commercial Music from Fresno City College. The following year in 2023, Fresno City College gave me a Latino Certificate of Achievement, also for completing all the classes I needed for my major in commercial music.
In the spring of 2023 I took a poetry class at Fresno City College because I needed another english class for my general education. I also wanted to take it for myself to become a better song writer for my own music and for music that I would compose for my career later on in the future. I stared writing my own music when I was in 8th grade. At first it was just singing over some chords that I put together but then graduated to making music on my brothers digital audio workshop called Reason. I would watch him make beats and I just would spend hours in his room making 2-3 minute songs with my friends and eventually got back into making music in college, now with more experience with the classes given there and from fellow classmates. In my audio engineering class my professor told me that nowadays people on social media enjoy watching and listening to upcoming musicians that had capturing music videos along with a great song. I eventually started putting together stock footage of pieces of video that fit well with the mood of my songs and put them all together to make my song come to life!
