Under the general direction of the Practice Manager, Clinical Director and Lead MD, functions as a clinic level supervisor, performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to clinical management of practice and patient care. Provide safe, efficient, quality direct patient nursing care in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. In addition, perform administrative duties including quality monitoring, clinical supply management, supporting established clinic workflows and staff education. Under the direct supervision of the designated clinical staff member, will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population, while maintaining high standards of care, and recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms of life threatening emergencies. Work in collaboration with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to ensure clinical standards are maintained.

Under the supervision of an RN Supervisor, my primary responsibility is to provide patient care for Obstetrics, GYN, Family planning, Sexually transmitted infections. Provide direct patient care, execute physician orders and provide patient education. Coordinate and direct patient flow and clinic activities; prepare sterile procedures; administer medications; blood draws; orders supplied and maintain exam rooms in satisfactory conditions. Review in basket results and forward them to the MD. Provide backup support to encounter/ registrations area and appointment scheduling.
