Gisselle Silva Flores

Hi! My name is Gisselle Silva, and I currently go to school at BCTC to get my Associates in Nursing! I’m the oldest daughter in my family and the first person in my family to go to college! Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to work in the nursing field, and that’s what I’m trying to do now! I speak both English and Spanish, and Spanish was my first language! During Senior year, I received the Seal of Bilíteracy for Spanish! I’m a very quick learner and I love helping other people, whether that is medically and even helping them feel better about themselves. Working in the medical field would give me experience needed to become a better nurse when I get licensed as one. I would love the opportunity to work as a CNA to gain experience and most importantly to help patients with whatever they need. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, I would be very diligent about serving patient's medical and personal needs. Focused on delivering high-quality care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
