
Helping others in a significant fashion with any kind of assistance is my key to success. Throughout many years of working professionally accommodating others with proven experience my strategies have grown stronger. In addition as a skill that I have is that I'm bilingual. I speak creole and English. Overtime I've become a Quick learner accomplished in solving problems through critical thinking and handling conflicting priorities with concise time management.
· Assisting all other providers as needed to maintain workflow and patient care.
· Managing in-baskets for providers.
· Answering phone calls for all providers and addressing patient inquiries, by having the RN’s triage the patient (if needed), sending encounters to the appropriate person.
· Handling schedule changes, rescheduling, and last-minute closures due to PTO or surgery etc.
· Ensuring that practice on-call schedules are accurately added to the calendars.
· Verifying that medical records are complete by checking patient charts, retrieving necessary faxes, or contacting patients to bring in missing documents for their upcoming appointments.
· Uploading imaging disks with radiology reports to maintain accurate patient records.
· Scanning and processing ultrasound reports from procedures for billing purposes.
· Verifying patient insurance coverage to prevent billing and authorization issues by creating referrals while scheduling.
· Mailing/ faxing prescriptions to patients as needed and desired facilities.
· Scheduling patients referred from radiation oncology providers.
· Calling patients who we received referrals from other facilities/Doctors.
