The main objective is to seek employment that allows the use the skills and knowledge I’ve gained with previous job experience. Everyday motivation is to “Meet or exceed customer expectations”.
Working as a cross utilized agent i worked three flights a day at ABE international airport. I was responsible to carry out the duties of ramp, customer service/ticket and gate. The combined responsibilities include: checking in and ticketing passengers, escorting passengers to the aircraft, resolving customer complaints, general customer assistance to passengers, marshaling aircraft, loading/unloading, and sorting freight and baggage adding up to 100's of it. My duties also included servicing aircraft, assisting with pushback and towing to/from the gate, deicing and other duties as assigned. Being a cross utilized agent i would interact directly with our customers and pilots.
Working as an operator first and foremost safety comes first for me, my coworkers and my whole team at Dow, making sure everyone has and is using their correct PPE during their task in hand. As an operator I would maintain several responsibilities around the plant. My main task everyday was unloading railcars that would station at our plant to drop off raw materials. I loaded raw material as well depending on the customers’ needs. I would safely maintain and pay close attention to several computers on certain pressure, height and volume numbers, making sure raw material is flowing efficiently and accurately. A typical day would be operating about 5-7 railcars a day. If any of the railcars would take a long period of time due to different raw materials I would help out my co-workers as well with different tasks such as manually break down pallets of material, arraigning/stacking/repackaging materials, manually placing labels, stickers on packaged materials as well as manually handling products, placing them into shipping containers operating fork lift trucks.
At BIMBO safety came first while working around an industrial size bakery. I worked with a great team and our goals was to consistently produce large production of different types of bread from raw to suitable to ship to our clients. Also my team would rotate through various jobs either bagging, shipping product or preparing and washing product to prep it for breakdown to our production facility. I worked on a 3-2-3 schedule and worked 12-hour shifts. I learned lots about safety as i worked in a clean room and was fully suited up to prevent any contamination.
