Work History

Independent adjuster/Administration Manager/Technical Review

Pilot catastrophe
01.2019 - Current
  • At Pilot I started as an Outside adjuster manager. I managed a team of OAs working hurricane Ida in Louisiana. I would give them guidance, experience and communications pertaining to their assigned claims. I would speak to Insureds, agents, etc about the claims. I also had authority to approve, after my review, estimates up to 35,000 dollars. I then transitioned to a desk adjuster. I take claims from initial reporting through the entire process. I gather inspection reports from various sources including drone photos, IA inspections, contractor submissions and information from the Insured. I am the point of contact throughout the claims process for my Insureds. I prepare the Xactamate estimates, research like, kind and quality of building products and personal possessions that have been damaged, and handle all communications on the claim file. This includes the Insureds, contractors, Public Adjuster firms and legal representatives if necessary. I explain the processes, results, claim reports and if needed negotiations with their contractors. I make sure all involved stay informed on every step of the process and all questions are answered according to the policy and laws of the state.
