I am a member of the San Gabriel Writers League in Georgetown, Texas. Besides being a past president, I am also a judge for the manuscript contests the league sponsors. Within the past twenty years, I have also been a member of various other writer's groups throughout the state. Currently, I have three published books: The History of the Georgetown Evangelical Free Church, Haunted Texas Highways, and Official State Flowers and Trees: Their Unique Stories. Throughout my writing career, I have orchestrated creative writing workshops, which I was also a speaker. As a novelist, I have a western series in progress. However, Book 1 is not yet published as I first want at least three manuscripts in the series finished. That way books 2, 3, etc. be will published three to six months apart to keep my readership engaged to ensure a consistent flow of new content, which is key for the success of a long-term series. I am an avid reader of New York Times bestsellers. On average I read between 30 to 40 novels a year (if time allows). In my Interdisciplinary studies for my Bachelor of Science degree, my minors are in history, sociology, and psychology. I specifically chose those subjects to help understand my characters' actions and personality traits. In the fall semester of 2026, I will start graduate school at Texas A&M University-Central, Texas.
