Projects

Traffic Violation Ticket System C#, .NET, AWS

This is a hybrid cloud system that uses an AWS Lambda function, triggered by a PUT event to a S3 bucket, to extract a plate number from an image using AWS Textract. A daemon we built with C# .NET requests available data from the AWS SQS using long pooling, then the car owner information is retrieved from a database and sent to another AWS SQS. Finally, a second AWS Lambda function, triggered by the second AWS SQS, registers the car owner to an AWS SNS topic, if not already registered, and sends an email to the owners. On the Cloud side, resources were deployed using AWS Cloud Formation. A second version of this project was also built using AWS EventBridge and CloudWatch.

Notebook App JavaScript, React

This is a web application that allows users to create and store personal notes. User data is stored in a persistent storage.

Caption-it Python, TensorFlow, Google Colab

This application generates captions based on images fed to a model built using Tensorflow with Python.

CodeLab JavaScript, NodeJs, CSS/HTML, Java, Spring Boot, Firebase

This is a platform based around a real-time collaborative, browser based, IDE that allows students and instructors to code together.
