- Conducted a study to understand and analyse Marine Heatwaves in the Arabian Sea under the guidance of Dr Abhisek Chatterjee, Scientist D, INCOIS
- Characteristics and the trends of the extreme climate event such as duration, Intensity and frequency over a period of 29 years were studied
- The relation of the events with climate variability modes and anthropogenic climate change was also analysed
- Enhanced skills in analysing and visualising data in R (Heatwave package) and coding
- Contributed to a research paper which is the first to explore Marine Heatwaves in the region.

- Carried out satellite X Ray data analysis of Cen X-3, a neutron star, using a software called HEASoft by NASA
