Job Shadowing- Dental Assistant

As part of my dental assisting course, students were tasked with completing 16 hours of shadowing an assistant. During my time shadowing, I was introduced to how the dental office works on a day to day basis. It was a very eye opening experience for me that furthered my interest and passion for working in the dental field. I enjoyed learning about various procedures, the sterilization of instruments, the way the office built relationships with their patients, and so much more.
