My Responsibilities as a child care assistant for the aces after school care and summer program include watching children when they got done with school until their parent/guardian picked them up and making sure they are in a fun and safe environment. A few of my favorite things about working at ACES are getting to know the children and their families, learning what does and doesn’t work for each individual child, playing games, going outside and more! My main goal at the end of each day was to make sure each child was excited to come back the next day!

As my job position as a Bakery Assistant, I helped customers in person and over the phone with anything they needed bakery wise. I worked with a team to help at the front counter, take orders and also pack orders. I had many accomplishments along the way working in the bakery such as, completing large orders of buns, cookies, bars, cakes and more especially during holidays and around graduation time! Having everything done in an organized manner and really helped me and everyone overall!

Volunteer Activities
Over the course of the years, I am volunteered at the Eco food shelf, giving tree and other activities related to school in my high school years!
High School Activities
Some activities that I am involved in include dancing for Just For Kix in St. Peter, MN. This will be my 2nd year dancing for St. Peter. Prior to that I danced in Le Center, MN for the same dance company for about 8 years! At my High school I participated in Link Crew. Link Crew is a school organization where juniors and seniors mentor and lead freshmen and help them get to know everything they need to know coming into high school. I am also part of the Principal Advisory Council. A small group of students from each grade get together and meet with the building principal and discuss what is going well for our school and what we as students think that the school could do better. I also was involved in volleyball through community ed and a part of the school team through my sophomore year. Some of my accomplishments are getting into the senior showcase for dance in Rochester, MN for Nationals where we place 7th out of 25 teams!
