• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and postoperative conditions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient status to ensure early intervention.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform wound care, catheterization, and other clinical procedures in accordance with hospital policy.

• Float to a variety of units, including telemetry, orthopedics, oncology, and step-down, demonstrating strong adaptability and clinical competence.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to various patient populations and clinical settings.

Immediate Postoperative Monitoring

• Continuously monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Maintain airway patency and monitor for respiratory complications related to anesthesia or surgery.
• Assess pain using appropriate scales and administer analgesics or sedatives per protocol
• Monitor for adverse effects of anesthesia and pain medications, such as hypotension, respiratory depression, or nausea.Monitor and manage IV lines, central lines, arterial lines, or chest tubes.
  Administer IV fluids, blood products, or medications (e.g., vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants) as ordered
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the cardiac surgeon, anesthesiologist, and ICU or step-down team.
