Grace Munge

I am currently apart of Islanders Committed, a school ran mental health club with ties to the Middletown Prevention Coalition in Middletown, Rhode Island. It aims to provide health and well being to everyone within Middletown High School, as well as the community. We plan and initiate a variety of activities within both these settings. Within the school, we run/volunteer at information tables that provide students with mental health resources, and mental health related questionnaires or games/raffles to gain a better perspective of how the entire student body copes with mental health. We do this in conjunction with recruitment incentives. Within the community, we hold dodgeball tournaments, cookouts, large scale fundraisers, etc.

As of right now, my family and I as fellow members of Crosspoint Christian Church in Newport, Rhode Island, volunteer heavily in various aspects of the church. We are able to cater to the collective need by cleaning the church once a month on Saturdays, running fundraisers for missions and church finances, teaching sunday school, and helping find new ways to outreach.
