I was an exceptional nanny for two families over the course of three years. I made meals, monitored behavior and planned daily activities to do with my kids. I am very organized and goal oriented which helped me be so successful at this job. Additionally, in high school I worked at a boutique and as a life guard. Both of these jobs also had me interacting with children a lot and they expanded my knowledge of the importance of safety and close monitoring of child behavior.
Throughout high school I was in the National Charity League of Naperville. This association helped me gain my leadership skills and take responsibility and awareness of the needy groups of people in my own community. I continued this love of volunteering for philanthropy events by joining the Beta Beta chapter of Alpha Phi at Michigan State University. I have been a part of this chapter for two years and plan to graduate with these letters. We do a lot of work with the National Heart Association and I have learned a lot of organization and leadership skills through organizing events for my sorority.
