I have had many amazing opportunities to participate in humanitarian trips. I went to Cape Verde Africa for 3 weeks to build preschools for the children in the community and immerse myself in their culture. There was no electricity so we had to build their schools by hand. I got to experience a different point of view and become involved with the children. Another experience I received was the chance to travel to Ecuador for 10 days over the Christmas season. I was in charge of helping in the orphanages by making crafts, playing games, and spending time with the kids. There were multiple orphanages such as a baby, all girls, all boys, and special needs orphanage. 

I love to make a difference and if I get the opportunity I take advantage of it. I am very passionate about respect for all in the work force. I feel like respect helps a work place become very healthy for everyone. My education is something I am very fervent about. I am going to school to become an Occupational Therapist. I choose this degree because I have had personal experiences that have helped me gain a deeper understanding for health care and what comes in and out of the hard work. If I can make someone else's life easier I am happy.
