PAR Scenario at Jimmy Johns Gourmet Sandwiches

Problem: During the pandemic, online and phone orders skyrocketed. With one Inshop worker and one Delivery Driver only, the store was severely understaffed to handle the increased demand. Customer satisfaction and revenues were falling.

Action: Informed Management of our dilemma, and offered the solution to add one more person for the evening shift to cover phones and online orders, while maintaining all COVID protocols.

Result: Manager came to the store and worked a shift. After taking phone orders non-stop for 45 minutes, the Manager understood our dilemma, brought in additional team members, and rewarded myself and my coworkers with an increase in pay.
