I treated each Grower with kindness and compassion

I learned that each person on the farm had special talents. Each person had good days and hard days, and I could work to make the hard days better.

I learned that farm animals and growing things matter a lot to how someone feels about who they are.

I learned to follow directions and that it is okay to make mistakes sometimes.
