While in the Air Force I took part in what's called the Security Forces Augmentee program. Essentially, when the Security Forces were undermanned, they would call us to help fill their numbers. As a result of this, I had training in various security skills. Checking ID's/Restricted Area badges. Handcuffing. Use of Force. Arrest Procedures. etc etc.
Outstanding Achievement Award issued Febuary 3, 2025 for my role in a Staff Assault. An offender was intoxicated and assaulted another Officer, I intervened and forced the offender off of her, then fought with him until backup arrived and we safely put him into restraints.
