Dedicated Resident Assistant with strong leadership and communication skills. Experienced in planning engaging activities and supporting students' emotional and social health.
Working as a Resident Assistant for Baylor Talent Identification Program (TIP), I was responsible for ensuring the well-being of students outside of the classroom. My primary duties included planning and leading interactive activities, building meaningful relationships through quality time, and intentionally supporting students’ emotional and social health. Living in the dormitories alongside them, I also helped maintain structure and accountability by enforcing curfews and ensuring students went to bed at an appropriate time so they were well-rested and prepared for the next day’s academic challenges.

Throughout my various roles at the YMCA of Easley, Pickens, and Powdersville, I consistently prioritized member service, teamwork, leadership, and facility excellence. My core responsibilities included meeting the needs of members, fostering a positive and professional work environment, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, stepping into leadership roles when needed, and remaining current on all required certifications and trainings.
As a Lifeguard, I was responsible for supervising swimmers to ensure their safety, maintaining a clean and hazard-free pool environment, and teaching both private and group swim lessons for children. I also regularly participated in in-service trainings to uphold safety standards and maintain certification requirements.
In Member Services, I served as the first point of contact for members, greeting them professionally and assisting with questions or concerns. I handled financial transactions accurately, managed assigned administrative projects, and responded to phone inquiries regarding YMCA programs and services.

As a Summer Camp Counselor for a track and field program, I developed and implemented lesson plans designed to promote skill development, teamwork, and engagement. I demonstrated leadership, built strong connections with campers, facilitated group activities, and managed conflict resolution in a positive and constructive manner.
As a Wellness Trainer, I assisted members with proper use of gym equipment and supported them in developing personalized training plans. I ensured the fitness area remained clean, organized, and welcoming while promoting safe and effective exercise practices.
