I still use the skills and training I received while working at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant (DCPP).  The most valuable of all is that of safety first. Safety applies to everything we do in life, whether it be simple tripping hazards, climbing a ladder, using power tools and even riding my motorcycle.  I also enjoy meeting people and love to interact with them on a casual basis. I meet many of them at Starbucks when I'm having coffee and as a result I have met people from all walks of life which has been an amazing and challenging at times. I simply try to be a source of encouragement.
