My responsabilities with Saanteiu Memorials include not only cemetery lettering and memorial delivery but also pricing, quoting and working with customers. Cemetery lettering has been a surprising step away from the traditional monument shop and requires the ability to adapt and change to provide the customer with the highest possible quality of service. It has been an extremely educational experience to be able to add more to a well rounded knowledge in the industry.

• With more than twenty years experience in the industry, my current responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following; supervision of roughly fifteen employees and assistance in all aspects of production, hiring and training of new employees, developing and communicating work plan and goals to employees in daily meetings, communication of daily plan and performance to fellow managers, ordering and inventory of supplies, repair and maintenance of equipment, continuous education in leadership skills and industry practices and a development of all company finances
• In my time with the company, I have accomplished the following; the best production numbers in the 124 year company history, OSHA ten hour certification, graduation of leadership program, created a sense of team and family amongst employees and was selected to be a part of a team to purchase the company after only two and a half years as production supervisor

• Responsibilities included all aspects of memorial production including sandblasting, stencil, lettering and design layout along with cutting, waiting on customers from sales through delivery, unloading granite from semis with a hilo, creating delivery plans, loading and delivering memorials to various cemeteries, training of new employees in all aspects of production, maintenance and repair of equipment, rigging and coordinating with cranes during larger installations, answering phones and some filing, repair and restoration of cemetery memorials, construction of foundations for monument and marker installation
• Accomplishments included building strong relationships with staff at various cemeteries resulting in additional work and income for the company, working hand in hand with high end clients and building trust which in turn created repeat business, proficiency in forklift operations, building skills as a supervisor and learning the fund of the industry
