  • We have brought in a new generation of Facilities Coordinators, hired and trained a new Airfield Electrician, brought our Buildings Services Team in house, have created 6 new FTE Facilities Positions and have been awarded a discrepancy free 2021 FAA Inspection. We are currently maximizing on the experience and knowledge of long standing employees of the ASE encouraging them to embrace and train a new generation of Airfield Employees to ensure the success of the organization in the future.

  • I was in this position for a short amount of time due to being promoted to Airfield Facilities Manager within the first two months.

  • I was responsible for all essential functions of the Landside and Airside Ops and ARFF at ASE. This included Part 139 and 1542 inspections. These duties also include all record keeping daily data entry logs and guest service duties with our Airport Tenants and Guests. Within two months into my Coordinator position, I was promoted to a Team of 4 that were handpicked to become full time ARFF Responders. During my tenure with ARFF, I had been actively researching other Index B Airports in the United States as part of a staffing, scheduling and salary comparison study for creating our own ARFF Department for ASE. All the data I had collected was utilized as the blueprint for ASE ARFF becoming its own department.

  • I assisted Facilities Management for Airside and Landside designations of the Airfield having spent a great deal of time in several types of snow removal equipment, as well as assisting the Airport Operations Team with management and training tasks. I greatly enjoyed working with both the Facilities and Operations Departments and feel great pride in having an integral role in bringing the two departments together as a more unified Operation.

  • I was originally tasked in 2002 with creating and managing a new Terrain Park Program with Aspen Snowmass for Buttermilk and Snowmass Mountains with the goal of bringing the ASC Terrain Park product up to industry standards and obtaining Resort Top 10 Rankings in TransWorld and Freeskier Magazines annual Resort Polls. We held the #1 Ranking for 4 consecutive years while holding Top 5 Rankings for over a decade.
  • My role also included overseeing all Terrain Park Operations for Buttermilk and Snowmass Mountains and the Aspen Snowmass Terrain Park Training Program. I managed all Park design and builds, special events, and the implementation of the snowmaking and grooming schedules.
  • In 2008, 2009 and 2010 I was the point person and on snow Manager for exclusive Half Pipe Training Camps for the US Snowboard Team who went to the 2010 Olympics and took home 4 out of 6 potential medals in Half Pipe.

  • At the beginning of May 2023 I self-studied and passed the exam to obtain my AAAE ACE Operations Certification. Later in the month I participated in an in-person course and also obtained my ACE CM (Certified Member) accreditation.
