Summary

Having served in ministry for 38 years, I've spent my vocational career serving others. By God's grace, I've helped rebuild some great churches that were struggling. I did this by enlisting and training a staff, managing and growing the resources of the churches, and preaching the Word faithfully. While involved in the local church, I've also kept ties with an academic setting by teaching, writing, and serving as a trustee at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Whenever I take another assignment in ministry, I always study the culture of institution, build a leadership base, and then make necessary changes to strengthen the organization.
