• Provided preventive care such as well-child checks, adult physicals and gynecological examinations
• Examined wounds and treated lacerations with suturing and topical medications as well as other in house procedures
• Explained medications and side effects to patients, family members and caregivers, and thoroughly reviewed physician-ordered tests
• Prescribed appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure health and comfort of all patients
• Teamed with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care, referrals and high-risk management strategies.
• Provide emergency and routine care for minors under custody of United States Department of Health and Human Services. ( CORE Occupational)

• Delivered medications via oral, IV and intramuscular injections, monitoring responses to address new concerns.
• Recorded patients' medical history, vital statistics and test results in medical records
• Performed all tasks with patient-centered focus while seeking opportunities for improvement of processes and treatments
• Acted as patient advocate and implemented total patient care through team nursing process covering 8-10 high acuity patients per shift
• Treated patients with strokes, head traumas, comas and intracranial hematomas, COVID-19 critical and non-critical.
• Assisted with resuscitation, CPR and emergency airway procedures.

• Inserted peripheral IVs and administered non-medication IV fluids.
• Teamed on trauma and emergency interventions involving serious head injuries, gunshot wounds and thoracic trauma.
• Trained new nurses in proper techniques, care standards, operational procedures and safety protocols to optimize performance and safety.
