• My first experience with FIFA was last year during the volunteer selection process for the FIFA Club World Cup. I was selected and participated in the presentation of FIFA's methodology, alongside candidates from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
  - My second experience came during the Club World Cup itself, where I was involved in training and FIFA operations at Miami Dade College with the official referees. I built a strong relationship with Tim Goldman, Manager of Referee Operations, who is currently helping plan and execute the 2026 FIFA World Cup across 16 cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
  I also had the pleasure of meeting Edgar Streltsov, a former Russian player who now works for FIFA in Switzerland. We became friends during the referee operations at the Club World Cup.
  - My final experience last year during the FIFA Club World Cup took place at the hotel where FIFA referees and staff were staying. I was treated by one of FIFA’s top physiotherapists, an Italian whose name I unfortunately don't recall. At the end of the event, I was invited to share a buffet meal with all the FIFA professionals present.

- About this year (2026) I attended a special partnership event between Miami Dade College and FIFA, held in early 2026 at the Freedom Tower, where the historic partnership between FIFA and Miami Dade College was celebrated—a partnership that launched academic and internship programs for the 2026 World Cup. FIFA President Gianni Infantino was in attendance, and I spoke briefly with him, as well as with other people who already work at FIFA, such as a good friend of mine named Paris Dennard, who currently serves as Protocol Manager for the 2026 World Cup.

- INTERVIEWS :After submitting my applications, I received two interview offers to work for FIFA at the 2026 World Cup. The first interview was for the “FIFA World Cup 2026 Youth Program Coordinator” position, where I spoke with Maya Price from the People and Culture department.

- My second interview was for the position of Outer Area Coordinator here in Miami—a match-day-only role—where I was interviewed by Claudia Lima from Guest Operations and the Stadium Manager. My role would be to attend to VIP and VVIP guests during the games.

- SUMMARY: Since I am in my final year of college here in the United States and hold an international student visa, I believe this was the reason I was not selected for the position for this World Cup.
