  • Supply/Property Officer manages a $248k annual operating budget and $48mil in property without an assigned Storekeeper. Effective planning enabled procurement of $50k critical equipment & services while dealing with multiple continuing resolutions/lapses in funding, ensured unit remained fully operational. Training Officer and team lead, responsible for developing and executing training plan. Acting Commanding Officer, 18 days.
  • Meticulously planned and executed the high visibility, multinational regional training exercise, OP TRADEWINDS, in May 2024, in direct support of D7, LANT, and SOUTHCOM. Expertly liaised with the Coast Guard contracting office and international contractors to execute 9 port calls in 3 Caribbean islands, projecting a professional image to key international partners. While deployed to Barbados, the crew bolstered U.S. Relationships with 25+ partner nations in the Caribbean, United Kingdom, Canada, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands at a pivotal time for world politics, while rival great powers are seeking to expand their influence in the region. As the sole US maritime asset in the multinational TRADEWINDS exercise, a foreign military interaction that promotes regional security cooperation with a focus on countering transnational organized crime, the efforts of ROBERT YERED's crew improved maritime governance within the Caribbean and promoted shared technical expertise and proficiency.

  • As the lead Boarding Officer, led the ship's completion of 28 winter Alaska Living Marine Resources (LMR) boardings, enforcing federal regulations of the Pacific cod and pollock fishery in the Bering Sea.
  • Gunnery Division Officer (June 2021 - May 2022): Managed the minor and major caliber weapons program, ammunition dispensation, training of the weapons crew, and issuance of all weapons, ammunition, and pyrotechnics. Oversaw the expenditure of over 20,000 rounds of ammunition.
