Additional Information

While I have technically been a "stay at home mom" the last several years, I have also gained a great amount of knowledge through personal ventures. I opened and ran a large homeschool cooperative for several years that operated much like a private school, meeting once a week to hold classes. I also took on teaching high school level language arts class, that I still currently teach. I have also assisted in the start up of a new dance school. I can provide references from any of these ventures, which are more recent than my work history.

Also, as any nurse knows, even when your aren't at work, those nursing skills do not go unused. As a mom of seven, I am constantly calling upon my education to provide care for my children when they become sick or injured, as well as near daily calls from close friends and family.
