Immediately after graduating from high school, I moved to the United States to begin my college education. While navigating my career path during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I proactively sought practical experience rather than remaining passive. This drive led me to pursue an internship in a Real Estate Project Finance (PF) team before my military enlistment.
Through this internship, I cultivated data-driven research capabilities. I monitored daily real estate policies and market trends to understand how macroeconomic variables, such as interest rates, impact the asset market. I supported deal sourcing by collecting and refining key data, including floor area ratios (FAR), vacancy rates, rental prices, and comparable transaction cases. Based on this analysis, I assisted in drafting Investment Memorandums (IMs) and reports, visualizing complex data into clear maps and charts to highlight key investment points. Additionally, I gained insight into the deal flow and decision-making processes by documenting and reviewing meeting minutes.
Following my military service, I sought to expand my expertise from real estate to corporate analysis. I joined the Deal Team at an accounting firm, where I assisted with valuation, financial analysis, and industry research. This experience provided me with a solid foundation in quantifying and analyzing corporate value.
