Job Summary:

The manufacturing technician is an integral part of the overall process required to convert human plasma to injectable protein therapies. The technician is responsible for the set-up, operation and cleaning of various types of process equipment utilized to separate, purify, fill, inspect and package the protein products manufactured by Grifols. Promoted to Tech II position and completed the Trainer Course to be able to assist and train junior technicians.

Essential Job Duties:

• Responsible for equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment for plasma derived pharmaceuticals.
• Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to FDA regulations.
• Strong emphasis on documentation according to FDA regulations.
• Adhere to departmental corporate safety policies.
• Responsible for facility and equipment cleaning.
• All work is performed in a clean room (sanitized) manufacturing environment.
• Responsible for basic process analysis such as pH, refractive index, turbidity, and conductivity measurements.
• Operates manufacturing equipment such as ultrafiltration (UF) units, chromatography columns, Clean In Place (CIP) systems, Steam In Place (SIP) systems and centrifuges.
• Utilizes touch screen Operator Interface Terminals (OIT).

• Security, crowd control and ushering at majors sports and concert venues such as the Rose Bowl, L.A Coliseum, Dodger Stadium, So Fi Stadium.
• Upheld high standards of professionalism while interacting with event attendees, representing the company positively at all times.
• Examined doors, windows and gates to verify security.
• Enforced security policies and removed violators and unauthorized individuals from premises to maintain safe environment.
• Permitted entry with escort for approved persons into secure locations.

• Scrubbed and sanitized toilets and trash cans to maintain healthy environment.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuumed general areas.
• Cleaned suites at various venues such as Dodger Stadium, So Fi Stadium and Crypto Arena
• Removed rubbish from trash receptacles, disposing of waste in specified areas to eliminate risk of pests.
• Inspected building for potential safety hazards, reporting identified concerns to supervisor.

• Door to Door canvassing engaging with potential voters
• Phone Bank calling hundreds of voters and informing them on the ballots or candidates in local and statewide measures
• Collaborated with fellow canvassers to strategize effective approaches for reaching undecided voters or potential supporters.
• Supported campaign objectives by attending community events and promoting key messages to the public.
• Maintained professionalism while addressing difficult questions or encounters with uninterested individuals during canvassing activities.

• General duties: mowing, edging, leaf blowing, trimming bushes and shrubs, trimming small trees, maintenance of gardens. Managing irrigation timers, fixing irrigation system including drip system, sprinklers, pvc pipes and irrigation valves. Responsible for scheduling route, direct communication with property management and supervisors. Responsible for at least 5 other employees and their duties.
• Provided clear direction to crew members, setting goals, expectations, and performance benchmarks for each project phase.
• Demonstrated adaptability in responding to unexpected challenges or changes in project scope without compromising quality or timeline targets.

• Cleaning and maintaining multiple parts of building. Duties included but not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet washing general areas such as restrooms, offices, auditoriums, classrooms, student center and gymnasium.
• Maintained proper handling, storage, mixing and application procedures when working with detergents and chemicals.
• Gathered and emptied trash.

• Worked with floor team and managers to meet wide range of customer needs.
• Greeted customers entering store and responded promptly to customer needs.
• Performed cash, card and check transactions to complete customer purchases.
• Part time cashier mostly on weekends and holidays. During regular afternoons and evenings would be in charge of either pizzeria station, salad bar, grill, server, sandwich maker in the cafeteria lounge.
