• Primary responsibility involves removing old materials to expose bare metal, addressing rust spots, and restoring original parts for reuse when possible.

• Skilled in stripping undercarriages, engine bays, and interiors/exteriors to ensure the metal is cleaned and prepped for refinishing.

• Proficient in masking and preparing vehicles for paint, ensuring surfaces are ready for final material applications according to owner specifications.

• Performed sanding, repair, and polishing on new boats, including Malibus, Cobalts, Super Nautiques, and Centurions.

• Specialized in repairing Gel Coat damage, filling rock chips, and addressing fiberglass air voids. Occasionally strengthened parts with fiberglass mat.

• Conducted full detailing, from polishing entire boats to performing acid washes to remove lake debris.

• Assisted with trailer maintenance by replacing bunks and carpets, and learned to disassemble and reassemble boats.

• Developed basic skills in fiberglass repair through hands-on learning with the main fiberglass manager.

• Began as an apprentice, handling full vehicle tear-downs in preparation for collision repairs and contributing to detailed repair estimates.

• Gained experience using frame machines, and learned to remove and replace truck bed sides, quarter panels, and radiator supports.

• Earned an I-Car certification in Steel MIG Welding, later applying these skills to spot and plug welding on vehicle structures.

• Assisted with frame pulls and collaborated on ensuring vehicles met factory specifications post-repair.

• Prepped cars for paint by sanding, masking, and polishing on both dealership and construction sides of the business.

• Earned certification in Waterborne Paint with Axalta Coatings, and advanced to a role where I regularly sprayed 3-stage solvent paints.

all-around role, where I took on responsibilities as a full-time polisher and assisted in various areas of the shop as needed.

• Helped manage workflow by stepping into areas where the team was behind, motivating colleagues, and working extended hours to ensure project deadlines were met.

• Supported wrap removal, heavy-duty equipment painting, and continued to assist with dealership-side projects, demonstrating flexibility and leadership.
