I am a 2nd year Public Health student at the University of Colorado Denver while also currently working towards a certificate in Families and Social Welfare. I plan on applying for a master's program in social work after graduating in hopes of becoming a school social worker or work with CPS. I currently work in an after school program in an elementary school where I work with children K-5. I am hoping to diversify my experience with children in different settings and positions to further learn better ways to help them in times of need.
