To deliver educational support to identified patients, caregivers, Healthcare Professionals and to other office staff within primary care and specialist facilities in the field of a designated disease state in order to meet all relevant standards as set by the company and Nurse Manager.

• Offers exceptional care and support to individuals recovering from acute respiratory incidents and dealing with chronic pulmonary conditions.
• Builds meaningful relationships with pulmonary patients and caregivers.
• Gathers and records patient health information and data to assess, identify and manage characteristics that affect care outcome.

• Help initiate, manage and troubleshoot ventilators, My Airvo, IPV, BiPAP/CPAP and other respiratory equipment used in the home setting.
• Explains course of care and medication side effects to patients and caregivers in easy-to-understand terms.
• Uses clinic, telephone and video appointments to provide education and training to family members, caregivers and patients living with asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and numerous other chronic pulmonary diseases.
• Responds in a timely manner, to secure messages from patients and caregivers.
• Education, monitoring and data entry for patients that use home spirometers.

• Established respiratory care plans for patients suffering from cystic fibrosis, asthma, COPD, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and other chronic respiratory diseases.
• Delivered treatment for patients experiencing chronic and acute respiratory illnesses by conducting assessments and providing diagnoses.
• Educated patient and family on patient's illness and available remedies.
• Aided physicians with various procedures such as bronchoscopies, ventilator management and intubations.
• Verified proper set-up and managed ventilators for adult, neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Worked on the pediatric critical care transport team transporting patients to and from different facilities for varying levels of care.
