Quality Improvement & Leadership

  • Mother and Infant Psychiatry Initiative: Improved postpartum mood disorder care (Henry Ford,2020–2023).
  • CVD Care and Colon Cancer Screenings on the Psychiatric Unit, Addressed and assessed guideline adherence for cardiovascular disease (CVD) medications, particularly in post-CVA and post-MI patients. Also initiated a program to allow stool screenings for colon cancer in collaboration with inpatient psychiatry and outpatient medical providers. (Henry Ford,2021 to December2022)
  • Collaborative Rounding: Established interdisciplinary meetings and collaboration including joint rounds between psychiatry, ICU, and oncology teams (2021–2023).
  • Resident Representative for JXN harm reduction: Advocated for harm reduction tools and policies within psychiatric and emergency settings.
  • Resident Representative for GME at Michigan Congress: selected to represent resident concerns, advocate for residents along with GME funding at the state level including meetings with congressmen
