Summary

As a Sudanese-American who was born in the Netherlands, lived in Alexandria, VA, and mostly grew up in Qatar, I was exposed to more than 80 different cultures which allowed me to develop open-mindedness and global awareness. This sparked my motivation to pursue business and foreign affairs. A direct consequence of my international background is that I learned about various groups of people and was able to relate to them, despite our major differences. Although I was unable to gain job experience due to the illegality of underage work in Qatar, I used the skills that I gained through academics and extracurriculars, especially the clubs I led, founded, and participated in. Furthermore, I am an organized and dependable candidate, successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I believe that I would be a perfect fit for AKPsi as I would contribute my global experiences as well as gain a community and beneficial resources.
