Lead carpenter for a remodel company. Performed a variety of tasks, including:

• communicating clearly with the owner of the company, and clients, to track and make sure we were executing their vision accurately.
• was responsible for teaching and leading carpenters who worked with me on renovations.
• performed framing, siding, drywall, concrete work, drywall installing, taping and mudding, flooring, installing cabinets and trim, and painting homes.

• following, understanding, creating, and executing client's desired visions of their home/space.
• track client and companies' vision to make sure we were creating the space that they envisioned.
• problem solving and pivoting when technical challenges arose, due to the unpredictable nature of some remodels.
• framing walls, roofs, decks, covered porches and finish work.

• eventually moved into a lead carpenter role on smaller remodel jobs.

Under the supervision of a lead carpenter, I learned a variety of skills necessary to build homes from the ground up:

• concrete - grade, level and prep ground prior to pouring concrete, pour, trowel, broadcast color, stamp and finish concrete.
• frame houses - framing walls, post and beams, and roofs.
• exterior drying-in - install windows and doors, ice guard and roofing, stucco, siding, trim, and fascia.
• finish work - build and install cabinets, trim, interior doors, countertops, tile, shelving, aesthetic finishing touches like breakfast nooks, and more fine working skills.
