  • At Southdale hospital I worked as a nursing assistant on an orthopedic floor.

  • This position was my first introduction into health care and it certainly solidified my passion for taking care of others.
  • I entered this role at a time where our hospital units were still completely overrun with Covid patients. While this was a stressful time, I am grateful for the opportunity this allowed me to work with patients with a variety of medical complexities.
  • This job certainly helped me master patience, adaptability, and how to remain calm in the midst of chaos.
