• Conducted baseline data for the Three Creeks Grazing Allotment Consolidation Plan, and maximize efficiency by carefully organizing and administering experiments.
• Performed vegetation/soil surveys to quantify disturbance levels of various cattle grazing rotation systems on range plant species composition, including measuring soil health and carbon accumulation.
• Uploaded biodiversity data from 2019 into R and conducted statistical analysis (ANOVA test). Results showed that frequent cattle rotation was the most cost-effective approach for managing and conserving rangelands.
• Assisted in the research of the phenology, agricultural damage, host plant, and biological control of the invasive brown marmorated stink bug pest in Utah.
• Analyzed data from insect surveys, vegetation sampling, and plant identifications conducted on 15 off-site research plots in urban areas of Utah along the Wasatch Front.
• Results attributed to the first biological control and discovery of the samurai wasp (Trissolcus japonicus) in Utah.
